IMPORTANT: Earth Hour on March 28th 2026

just want to remind you that the annual “Earth Hour” this year is Saturday the 28th of March from 8:30 to 9:30 PM.

Some of you already have programs set up from previous years, but since last year’s “Earth Hour” was not on the lastSaturday in March, you may need to change your old program.

To set up Earth Hour on a selected set of streetlight nodes:
  1. Add the tag “EarthHour” to the nodes you want to turn off between 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
  2. Open the program(s) these nodes would normally run on Saturday.
  3. Rename the program to indicate that it is for Earth Hour.
  4. Add the tag “EarthHour.”
  5. Set the Range to March 1st – March 31st.
  6. Set the Repeats to monthly, 4th Saturday.
  7. Add fixed actions: “Off” at 8:30 PM and “End” at 9:30 PM.

The program should now look something like this:

  1. Click Save and select “Make a copy.”
  2. Important: In the program list, move the new program to the top so that it takes precedence over the original program this Saturday.
  3. Don’t forget to send out new programs.

To verify that everything is set up correctly, select March 28th PM using the “Edit time” control. You should then see the relevant nodes running the “Earth Hour” program when looking, for example, at the INSTALLATIONS list:
