Results of a new focused growth plan for the German market are starting to emerge.
After numerous meetings with potential customers and business partners during the last 6 months, the feedback has been clear. As director Jann Mosgaard explains: “We have been met with a huge interest for GridLight™, our flexible system for street light management, from municipalities, utilities, and LED manufacturers, as they each see great potential in our system:
- municipalities achieve savings on energy costs,
- utilities achieve savings on maintenance costs and reduce CO2 emissions,
- LED manufacturers achieve flexible solutions for management of poles, providing additional functionality to their existing products.”
The dedicated sales efforts in Germany have already resulted in several new orders on live test pilots in Germany. Jann Mosgaard notes that a test pilot is the first logical step before an actual full-scale order, as the customers will get the opportunity to establish a proof of concept on their own installations in a selected area. We have promoted a “Try and Buy” concept that makes the rollout of a test very easy and affordable.
Office in Berlin
The positive response from the German market has made it an obvious decision to open a local office in Berlin. This lets us intensify our focus on the market and work even closer with German customers and partners.
The representation in Berlin will be effective from 1st of April. Further information will be provided soon.
